1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using TheDropVote ("the Platform"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provisions of this agreement. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Platform.

2. User Accounts

To access certain features of the Platform, you must create an account. You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
  • All activities that occur under your account
  • Providing accurate and current information
  • Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use

3. Design Submissions

When you submit a design to the Platform:

  • You retain ownership of your original work
  • You grant TheDropVote a license to display, distribute, and produce your design if crowned
  • You represent that you have the right to submit the design
  • You agree to our content guidelines and community standards
  • You may be compensated if your design is crowned and produced

4. Community Guidelines

Users must not:

  • Submit content that infringes on intellectual property rights
  • Post offensive, harmful, or inappropriate content
  • Manipulate voting or engagement through artificial means
  • Harass, abuse, or harm other users
  • Use the Platform for any illegal purposes

5. Payments and Payouts

For designers whose work is crowned and produced:

  • Payouts are processed through Stripe Connect
  • You must complete payout setup to receive compensation
  • Payment terms are specified in star agreements
  • We reserve the right to withhold payment for policy violations

6. Limitation of Liability

TheDropVote is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for:

  • Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
  • Loss of profits, data, or goodwill
  • Service interruptions or technical issues
  • Content submitted by users

7. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend accounts that violate these terms. You may close your account at any time.

8. Changes to Terms

We may modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
